Warranty Information for Alinea Hair Extensions

Alinea Hair Extensions are accompanied by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects, effective from the original invoice date. If you believe the merchandise is defective, it must be returned within 30 days of requesting a return authorization. The determination of a valid factory defect rests solely with our Quality Control staff. We strongly advise washing the hair before installation. Once the hair is installed, the warranty becomes void.

If a manufacturing defect is identified, we will issue either a full credit or a partial credit to your account. The issuance of a partial credit is subject to proration based on factors such as the time elapsed between the claim date and the original purchase date. If no manufacturing defect is found, the customer will receive a Manufacture Analysis Report (M.A.R.) detailing the chemical tests conducted on the hair, along with the final decision and any available offers based on each case study. The customer is responsible for shipping charges related to returning the merchandise, with a flat rate of $10.

The Alinea Hassle-Free Warranty covers manufacturer defects but does not extend to non-manufacturing damage, which includes:

Damage resulting from physical mishandling of the product by the customer.
Damage resulting from chemically processing the product.
Damage resulting from improper use of the product (e.g., lifting, coloring, or treating the extensions, applying heat to the adhesive tabs, cutting the adhesive tabs, etc.).
Damage resulting from attempts to repair or modify the product.
Damage resulting from a failure to follow Alinea’s training guides, manuals, guides on proper use and customer maintenance, and application techniques, instructions, and methods as published by Alinea from time to time.

Alinea recommends washing all extensions before installation. If extensions are applied to the hair, the customer assumes all responsibility for the care of the extensions, and at that point, the warranty is no longer applicable.
Defects resulting from a failure to follow Alinea’s training guides, manuals, guides on proper use and customer maintenance, and application techniques, instructions, and methods as published by Alinea Hair from time to time are not covered.
Except as expressly stated above, Alinea Hair disclaims all other warranties, including but not limited to any express warranties, statutory warranties, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Under no circumstances will Alinea Hair be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages, under any legal theory, arising out of or in any way relating to the product or your use of the product.
