The Skin Lite V Hair Replacement System features a base thickness of 5–6 mil, offering a strong balance between durability and natural appearance. With proper care, it can last for several months while maintaining a realistic look.

This unit features a light 100% hair density for a natural, full appearance. The main area uses reverse split knots for realistic movement, while the ⅛″ front is ventilated with V-looping at 95% density to create a soft, lifelike hairline.

Custom 80% Timeline

For a SkinLite unit with 80% hair density and custom perm, we begin with an unfinished 80%-density skin unit and apply additional PU to the thin base until it reaches a thickness of 5–6 mil. Custom perm applied during PU application process.

Production and shipping typically take 12–45 days.

If you need your unit sooner, please contact us to check whether an 80%-density skin unit is currently in stock. If one is available, we may be able to process and ship it within 12 days.

Made-To-Order Curl 

The factory picks up in-stock units and processes with high heat and pressure to create custom curl patterns. All curl processing causes some slight fading, which tends to be more noticeable on lighter shades. In some cases, the change is a shift in tone rather than actual fading.

After processing, the factory checks the color. If it remains close to the original shade, the piece is shipped. The factory will not correct the color after perm.

All made-to-order (MTO) curl units undergo curl processing after the hair color has been corrected, so some color variation is unavoidable. This color shift can be more noticeable on lighter shades. If you require an exact match to the color swatch, our MTO curl units may not be suitable for your needs.

Made-To-Order Curl Timeline: A custom perm typically takes about one week.

If there is a significant color change, the factory starts over with another hair system with a 30 cm curl pattern and processes it again to achieve the requested curl. In that case, the total turnaround time may be about two weeks.
